Let's see, pen can be used for:
Pressing teeny tiny buttons when you want to restart phone, modem etc.
To scratch you back.
As a conductor's button.
As a pointer when you are giving a presentation.
As a weapon (I won't elaborate this one :)),
To open (tear) a plastic package.
As a book marker.
To do a hair bun- Japanese style.
To look very busy. (Whenever you leave your office, bring a pen and notebook. That's how you will seem like a super busy person and people won't bore you with nonsense questions. Such as: "Hey where are you going?" Of course you're going somewhere important, you have a pan and notebook, for God's sake!)
As an inspiration. (OK, these would be PENCILS, but the point is the same.) Adam Brown founded Pencils of Promise, inspired by one little boy who was begging in the streets of India. When Adam asked him what would he want the most in the world, a little guy said: "A pencil." Adam was shocked and humbled and so super inspired that he just had to create something big and meaningful. Pencils of Promise helped build more than 300 schools all over the world.
