Ozone layer, also called ozonosphere, region of the upper atmosphere, between roughly 15 and 35 km (9 and 22 miles) above Earth’s surface, containing relatively high concentrations of ozone molecules

it is a gas in the atmosphere that protects everything living on the Earth from harmful ultraviolet (UV) rays from the Sun. Without the layer of ozone in the atmosphere, it would be very difficult for anything to survive on the surface.

Ozone layer is a layer of ozone molecules. It is present in the stratosphere.

It doesn't allow the harmful ultraviolet radiations, which are emitted by the sun to reach the earth. These harmful ultraviolet radiations can cause skin cancer and eye diseases to human beings and other living organisms.
