A reception was hosted by President Ramnath Kovind for the National Bravery Awardees 2018. On January 26, the awardees - seven girls and eleven boys will be participating in the Republic Day parade.
The National Bravery Awards is presented for courage and presence of mind and this year, a total of 18 Indian brave hearts will be honoured with this award. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will present the awards to them on the eve of Republic Day. Three of them will be awarded posthumously. The Chief Minister of Delhi, Arvind Kejriwal said the whole country is proud of them and added that fearless children are an asset to the society.
