We had a professor in our college who was hated by everyone, notice that I didn't say “almost everyone”.
See what he did to gain such a large number of haters.
As soon has he entered the class, he would send 9–10 students out of the class citing indiscipline when all they did was just chatting and didn't see him coming.
He used to comment on complexion of the students telling them that they looked like a security guard rather than an IIT student.
He did not know how to teach but he used to think that he teaches the best.
He used to speak ill about other professors in front of students.
He would check answer scripts by matching each and every word from the book. One word mismatch meant one mark deduction.
After every semester, we have to give feedback to the professors.
We had to do the same then. Every student gave him worst rating. Some even mentioned his wrongdoings in the comments.
Unfortunately, he again came to teach us in the next semester.
He then reminded us of each and every feedback comments. He would hold a grudge against us from that day. Everyday, he would tell us how we betrayed him, he would catch one student and send him out of the class citing the feedback reasons.
He would also say that we people are not different than our senior batches. Means, every batch ever had given him the worst feedback. No one ever liked his behavior and attitude.
