LIVER IS KNOWN AS METABOLIC FACTORY MY FRIEND BECAUSE

IT PERFORMES MORE THAN 500 CHEMICAL PROCESSES IN OUR BODY.

These are the chemical functions that take place in liver

- Detoxification – it cleanse the unnecessary compounds and dump them into intestine s they move out through excretion

- Storage- Liver store glucose in a form of glycogen. It is basically a store house of glycogen.

- Bile secretion- A small organ called gall bladder which is attached to liver contain bile acids which are required for the digestion and absorption of vitamins in intestine.
