living parenchymatous cells present in the phloem

it is an incomplete statement I think some helping verb is missing I don't know what is the helping verb and where to put it so please answer me​

Phloem companion cells are parenchymatous and these have a nucleus. These are also the living cells of phloem. Phloem fibers are dead. It has a thick wall and lacks a cytoplasm.
