L of box = 20 cm

B of box = 10 cm

H of box = 7 cm

a)

area of card board required = 2(L+B)H + L*B = 2(20+10)7 + 20*10 = 1600 cm²

b)

cardboard required = 1600 cm²

therefore, cost of cardboard = 160*3 = Rs 480
