Answer:

Eg - If you use the same force to push a truck and push a car, the car will have more acceleration than the truck, because the car has less mass. 3rd law = for every action (force) there is an equal and opposite reaction (force). eg - a swimmer pushes water backwards (action) . the water pushes him forward (reaction).

Newton's laws of motion are the basic laws that help to understand the concept of motion of bodies.

There are in total three laws of motion, proposed by Newton, and so they are called Newton's law of motion.

Newton's first law of motion :- Newton's first law of motion says that a body keeps its state of rest or uniform motion unless and until a net external force acts on it. It can also be said that if a body is in rest or uniform motion then the resultant of all forces acting on it is equals to zero.

Example - Motion of a ball which is falling under earths atmosphere is example that follows Newton's first law of motion.

Newton's second law of motion :- This law of motion of Newton says that the rate of change of momentum of a body is directly proportional to force which is applied on body. This is so because, when a force is applied on a body it's velocity changes and since p = mv thus momentum also changes. Then we can say rate of change of momentum is directly proportional to rate of change of force.

Example - In riding a bycycle when we increase the force on pedals then velocity or speed of bicycle increase and as velocity increases then product of mass and velocity also increases which results in increase of momentum.

Newton's third law of motion - This law of motion states that every action have an equal and opposite reaction.

Example - When a swimmer swims and apply some force from his feet on water then water applies the same force on man, and this force pushes the man forward in the opposite direction in which man applies force.
