No of boys=4x/10+8

60%×x=4x/10+8

(6x-4x)/10=8

2x=80

X=40

Total no of student is 40

Finally

No of boys is

=60%×x

=(60/100)×40

=(6/10)×40

=24

Therefore the no of boys is 24 and no of girl is (40-24=16) 16.

Let,

The number of boys be x.

According to the condition,
