Answer: The silver anode bar gives up electrons to become silver ions  in this process. When the anode bar gradually dissolves to replenish the silver ions in the solution.

Since they are positively charged so they are attracted by negatively charged cathode, so the silver ions deposit on cathode in form of pure silver.
