Standard time definition is - the time of a region or country that is established by law or general usage as civil time.
Local time is - time based on the meridian through a particular place as contrasted with that of a time zone.

1)local time -the time of a place when the mid day sun is over head is local time and the place on the same longitude has same local time. 2)standard time-the local time of the stanadard meridian of a country is standard time and The place on the same longitude has the different standard time .
