iii) The INC session of 1927 was held at Madras, Tamil Nadu for three days (26–28 December, 1927). The President of the session was Mukhtar Ahmed Ansari. This session decided to boycott the Simon Commission, passed a resolution against the use of the Indian Troops in China, Mesopotamia and Persia, and adopted the Independence Resolution.
