Locate and write the coordinates of a point:

(a) The coordinates of the point is (0,5)

(b) Given, the point lies on x-axis and is at a distance of 3 units to the left of the origin so, its abscissa is −3 or x=−3 and ordinate is 0 or y=0.

Hence, the co-ordinates of said point are (−3,0).

(c) The coordinates are (0,5)

(d) The coordinates are (–2,0)
