Yet it was the same search for truth that bring our civilization to the brink of destruction. hence we have been Confronted with the tragic irony that when we have been most successful on pushing out the boundaries of knowledge, we have at the same time endangered a possibility of human life on this planet. In this situation what should we do –curb our science or clinging to the pursuit of truth and run the risk of having our society torn to pieces? Hence the question which arises is should research be subjected to some kind of restraint? Shall our Scientists be concerned only with fact and not with valve and purpose. Can they legitimately claim that their only aim is advancement of knowledge, regardless of the consequences
