Hey frnd,
I m not able to find my compass.
But i m telling you the steps that u can perform to make root 2.
<>find factors (1)^2(1)^2 under root.
<>Draw a 90° angel on 1 on a line named A-B
<>Then from where u drew that angle. Draw an arc on the angle by 1 cm.
<>Then on that arc draw another 90° angle.
<>Then draw a arc as u did before.
<>Then join that arc to the point A in dotted line.
<>Then keep the compass there from where u drew the first arc.
<>Then draw line falling to the left side of line ie- to the B point side in dotted lines.
And u r done!!!!!!
Sry I can't provide pic as I m not able to find my compass.
Hope it helps............
