Andhra Pradesh has 13 districts Anantapur, Chittoor, East Godavari, Gunter, YSR Kadapa, Krishna, Kurnool, Sri Potti Sriramulu Nellore, Prakasan, Srikakulam, Visakhapatnam, Vizianagaram and West Godavari.

andhra pradesh has recorded history in Sanskrit epics. There are several evidence that andhra was a political power during satavahana and mughal empire. Andhra has under rule of kakatiya Dynasty, The reddy dynasty mughal rule.

The Nizam of hyderabad wanted independence from india but he has to be with India. In 1965 the andhra pradesh was created.

Andhra pradesh provided many opportunities for industries because of availability of ports. There is major growth in biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, mines etc.

Agra district has the second highest population of 44.19 lakh.

Sonebhadra is the second largest district with area at 6788 sq kms

Kanpur Nagar (City District) has the third largest population of 41.35 lakhs

Hardoi District (close to Lucknow) is the third largest in area at 5986 sq. kms.
