5,0 = 5x axis and 0y axis

0,5=0 x axis and 5 y axis

2,5=2 X axis and 5 y axis
5,2=5 X axis and 2 y axis
-3,5=-3x axis and 5 y axis
-3,-5=-3x axis and -5 y axis
5,-3=5 X axis and -3 y axis
6,1=6 X axis and 1 y axis
X axis horizontal
y axis vertical

Given:

Consider the given points are

A(5, 0), B(0, 5), C(2, 5), D(5, 2), E(-3, 5), F(-3, -5), G(5, -3), H(6,1)

Find:

We have to plot these points on cartesian plane that is xy-plane

Solution:

We know that the quadrant and their signs in xy-plane are

Ist quadrant = (+, +)

IInd quadrant = (+, -)

IIIrd quadrant = (-, -)

IVth quadrant = (+, -)

Therefore points A, B, C, D, and H will lies in Ist quadrant, G lies in IInd quadrant, F lies in IIIrd quadrant and E lies in IVth quadrant
