The Himalayan Mountains form the northern mountain region of India. They are the highest mountain ranges in the world.

The northern mountain ranges in the India extend from the Kashmir in the west of Arunachal Pradesh in the east. It has the distance of approx. 2500 km and its width are about 250 to 400km. almost it covers the area of six lakhs sq.km.

The northern mountain is the body and soul of India.
