The girl said I don't know but, I know the sum of our ages will give you one hundred.

hence mothers age will be 2x

and the fathers age will be 2x+5

given the sum of all these ages is =100

therefore

x+2x+2x+5=100

5x=100-5

x=$\frac{95}{5}$

therefore x=19

(c)2x+5=38+5=43
