now taking antilog on both sides, we get

=> 2x+3/2-5x = 7/1

=> 7(2-5x) = 2x+3

=> 14 - 35x = 2x + 3

=> 14-3 = 2x + 35x

=> 11 = 37x

=> x = 11/37
