  • Putting value of log in given equation.

----> 3x = 1/2*12 + ( 1/2*5 - 1/2 * 22)

----> 3x = 6 + ( 2.5 - 11 )

----> 3x = 6 + 2.5 -11

----> 3x = 8.5 - 11

----> 3x = -2.5

----> x = -2.5 / 3

----> x = - 0.833

Therefore , the value of x = { - 0.833 }
