  \frac{log64}{log8}   = log x

log [64-8] = logx

56 = x

i hope this will help you

abhi569: Please post ur question with a pic
Debanjaly: may i send it 2 u later......plzz
Debanjaly: i am having network problem
abhi569: Ohk as u wish
Debanjaly: today i got the correct answer .... log 64/log 8 =log x. .......=>log 2^6/log 2^3=log x............=> 6log 2/ 3log 2 .........=>log x=2( by reducing 6/3) .. .....=>log x = log 100 .....so x= 100
Debanjaly: thanks fr ur response

Given,

\frac{log 64}{log 8} = log x

To Find,

Value of x

Solution,

Since logx^{2} = 2 log x

Thus log 64 = log 8^{2} = 2 log 8

Thus \frac{log 64}{log 8} = \frac{2 log 8}{log 8}= 2

Since it is stated that \frac{log 64}{log 8} = log x

log x = 2

Since in any logarithm if the base is not stated, it is implied that the base is 10, thus log 100 = log 10^{2} = 2 log 10 and the value of log 10 = 1

Thus value of x = 100

Henceforth the value of x = 100.
