log 7(3x+4)=log 7(5x+8)

$7(3x + 4) = 7(5x + 8) \\ \\ 3x + 4 = 5x + 8 \\ \\ 3x - 5x = 8 - 4 \\ \\ - 2x = 4 \\ \\ x = - 2$

Therefore x = -2.
