hi friend,

the given question can also be written as ,by converting into exponential form,we get

3^x-8=3^(2-x)

→3^x-8=9/3^x

let 3^x be y

then

→y-8=9/y

→y²-8y-9=0

→y²-9y+y-9=0

→y(y-9)+1(y-9)=0

y =-1 and 9

but 3^x≠-1 since it should be positive

3^x=9

→3^x=3²

x=2

I hope this will help u :)
