Answer:

Que...Is Wrong..Its Should Be

Log (x+3) Base 4 - Log (x-1) Base4 = 2 - Log 8 Base 4.....

Ans.... LHS = Log (x+3)/(x-1) Base 4

RHS = 2 - Log 2^3 Base 2^2

= 2 - 3/2 Log 2 base 2

= 2-3/2

=1/2

Hence.LHS = RHS

= Log (x+3)/(x-1) Base 2^2 = 1/2

= 1/2 Log (x+3)/(x-1) = 1/2

= Log (x+3)/(x-1) = 1

= Hence ..As Known Rule

Log A Base N = Log A Base 10

Hence Log (x+3) / ( x-1) Base 10 = 1

Hence ....10^1 = (x+3) / ( x-1)

Hence..x = 13/9
