have found a trick to solve this without too much effort. Mind you, this helps in the future when you have similar doubts.
First, you walk into the nearest novelty/stationary/supermarket. Ask someone to point out a good, working calculator to you(helps if its scientific).
Now that you know how it looks like. The rest is easy. Just ask it to solve such questions next time.
Now, i get I'm the condescend guy in the story, but a calculator solves questions faster than asking calculations on forums.
But ill help you out anyways. I'm assuming you know the laws of logarithms and exponents. specifically log(a.b) = loga + logb and log(a/b)=loga - logb
Write 5 as 10/2 . So log(10/2) =log10- log2 = 1 - log2
(as you may already know or will come to know, log 2 is a common constant that is useful in many calculation as approximately 0.3 )
so it simplifies as 1- 0.3 = 0.7
