Assumed number p/q

Interchange the numerator and the denominator.

=> q/p

Multiplication of ( p/q ) * (q/p)   = 1  

by changing numerator and denominator multiplicative inverse is obtained

if numerator and denominator non zeroes

and multiplication of  number and multiplication inverse is 1
