Logx+log(x-5) = log6

We know that =>
logM+logN= log(M.N)

log{x.(x-5)} = log6

log is cancelled

x²-5x= 6

x²-5x-6= 0

x²-6x+x-6 = 0

x(x-6)+1(x-6) = 0

(x+1)(x-6) = 0

______
x= -1,6
