Lok Sabha is powerful than Rajya sabha because of following reasons :-

1. The members of Lok sabha are directly elected by the whereas members of Rajya sabha are inderectly elected by the people.
2. Lok sabha has a control over money bill whereas Money bill cannot be initiated by Rajya Sabha.
3. Lok Sabha has an authority over Executive whereas Rajya Sabha does not have any control over it.

⇒ Money bill is sent for Rajya sabha only for recommendation and if the Rajya sabha does not give back the bill withing 14 days , then it is accepted to be passed.
