So we know that There are a total of 38 animals as all animals have 1 head only. Now Chickens have 2 legs and Pigs have 4 legs so we have to divide the legs among them that the answer of total animals should be 38.

To do this we first have to acknowledge that all animals have at-least 2 legs (some have 4 but all have at-least 2), so we;

38 x 2 = 76

Now ; 80-76= 4

Therefore; 4/2 = To amount of 4 legged animals which is 1.
