I want to say that do not increase your loneliness so much that it becomes a never-ending disease. Make this loneliness positive, make your thinking positive. A person can come out of the darkness of this loneliness only by his positive thinking. Why do you get upset by thinking about people who don't think about you or don't respect your feelings? Respect yourself, if you don't respect yourself or don't prioritize yourself, no one will respect you.
I'm just getting out of such a state, and as a fresh experience I can break it down into a few elements:
- - Backtracked the series of events that led to the anti-climax that ultimately resulted in the emotional void and the depression. This helps me understanding what was my contribution, and what was the others' influence.
- - Stopped blaming myself for things that were out of my control. There was nothing I could do about them.
- - Kept the belief that I will ride it out.
- - Paid attention to every little positive thing that occurred to me. Helped gradually changing my mood towards a positive one.
