Answer:

In the story The Proposal by Anton Chekov, the 3  main characters Natalya, her father Chubukov, and Lomov lose their temper on silly and trivial issues.

Explanation:

The idea of Anton Chekov is that the concept of forgiveness and forgetfulness allows a great deal to sustain the relationship with our neighbours. Lomov, Natalya and Chubukov put important and crucial problems behind them by fighting about trivial items and wasting their energy.

Such arguments gradually developed and ends up in fights and they start to shout at each other's as well as hurl abuses on each other. This has damaged their relationship with each other.

When Natalya learned that Lomov had come to propose to her, she left behind the subject (Oxen Meadows). She even asked Lomov to forgive her and told him to come to the point. Therefore it is essential that we learn to forgive and forget if we want to have cordial relationship with others.
