\star AnswEr :

a) What are fossil fuels? Name three fossil fuels.

A fossil fuel is a fuel, formed for unwanted waste materials. They're made from decomposing the different plants and animals. Generally, they're found in earth's crust.

Examples : Coal, oil, & natural gas

b) Describe how fossil fuels were formed.

Plant's as well as animals which died thousands & millions of years ago and got deep buried in the earths crust, & generally they were far from the reach of Oxygen (O2).

They got changed into fossil fuels due to the chemical effects of pressure/temperature, heat & bacteria.

Now-a-days these fossil fuels are extracted through coal mining & drilling of oil & gas wells on land.
