Long answer type questions:-
Copper oxide was prepared by two different methods. In one case, 1.75g of the metal gave 2.19g of oxide.
In the second case, 1.14g of metal gave 1.43g of the oxide. Show that the given data illustrate the law of
constant proportion.​

Explanation:

In the first method Cu : O (1.75 : 2.19) = 0.79

In the second method Cu : O (1.14 : 1.43)= 0.79

By observing these two methods we came to know that it follows law of constant proportion as the ratio of both Cu and O in copper oxide are same.
