An image is a representation of an object produced by means of radiation usually with a lens or mirror system.
Real Image:-
The image formed when rays of light meet at a point after reflection/refraction is called real image.
Examples of real images include an image on a cinema screen.
Virtual Image:-
The image formed when rays of light appear to meet (when diverging rays are extended) at a point is called a virtual image.The best example of a virtual image is your reflection in the mirror.
