Answer: (a)Time and technology are two important factors that can change substances into resources. Both are related to the needs of the people. People themselves are the most important resource. It is their ideas, knowledge, inventions and discoveries that lead to the creation of more resources.

(b)The distribution of natural resources depends upon many physical factors like land, climate and altitude. The distribution of resources is unequal because these factors differ from place to place on this earth.

(c)actual resources                                          Potential resources

At the current time, they are being used. They are not actually being used.

(d)Ubiquitous resources are the type of resources which are found everywhere. The example of this can be the air we breathe and water we drink and the  soil we use for planting and irrigation purposes. These resources are usually found in larger quantity. They do not cause pollution and are eco-friendly.

(e)Conservation of resources is the ethical use and protection of valuable resources, such as trees, minerals, wildlife, water and others. It focuses on maintaining the natural world in order to protect the sources of resources.
