(a) Hydrogen gas is collected in the test-tube B placed over the cathode.                                 

(b)  Volume of 02 gas collected will be half of the volume of H 2 gas i.e., 5 mL                

(c) Pure water is a non-conductor of electricity. Hence, electrolysis will not take place. Few drops of did. H2SO4 make the water conducting.
