i) area of trapezium

= 1/2 × (addition of parallel sides) × h

= 1/2 × (120cm + 160cm) × 100cm

= 1/2 × (280cm) × 100cm

= 14000cm²

ii) area of the rectangle

= length × breadth

= 40cm × 20cm

= 800cm²

iii) Circumference of the circle

= 2πr

= 2 × 22/7 × 7cm

= 44cm

iv) area of trapezium excluding the area of unshaded figures

= area of trapezium - (area of the rectangle + area of the circle)

[area of the circle

= πr²

= 22/7 × 7cm × 7cm

= 154cm²]

= 14000cm² - (800cm² + 154cm²)

= 14000cm² - (954cm²)

= 13046cm²
