(a) In the 1st case — No

The distance covered is decreasing according to the time, which can never happen in one dimension.

(b) In the 2nd case — Yes

The distance covered is increasing, then it is at rest and then again increasing.

(c) In the 3rd case — No

The distance covered is again decreasing according to the time.

(d) In the 4th case — No

The distance is already been covered before the time starts, this is also not possible in one dimension.
