When the few drops of iodine are added to both test tube A and Test tube B .

condition A

test tube A has crushed potato that are chewed

and saliva is present in it . Saliva have salivary emylaze that break the starch into sugar so the colour of chewed potato doesn't change . Because now it doesn't have starch.

condition B

the test tube will change its colour as it have starch present in it they are crushed and it doesn't have saliva . so they will change colour to blue .
