As sturdy as an oak - This band of strap is quite unbreakable. It is as sturdy as an oak.
As new as a day- After my mother ironed the clothes, the looked shiny and as new as a day.
As wise as an owl- Be wise as an owl to take immensely right and impressive decisions.
As slow as a tortoise -The faculty of this university was as slow as a tortoise.
As white as snow -The dress of the new Phineas was as white as snow.
As green as grass- After a lot of cattle rearing it was difficult for the owner of the field to again make it as green as grass.
As brave as a lion Since from childhood emperor Ashoka had been as brave as a lion.
As good as gold -Perfection can only be gained through practise. No one has either become successful or as good as gold without practise
