My birthday party

My dearest friend once contacted me late on a Saturday night when I was at school to invite me to her birthday party the next day. I was overjoyed and eager to go, but I had to ask my parents for their permission first. "Papa, tomorrow is my best friend's birthday and I really want to go," I said as I made my way to his room.

Ok, I don't mind, but ask your mum, said papa.

Dear Mom, I remarked as I approached my mother. Suddenly, she asked, "What do you want?"

Mom, how do you know that I need to say something? I was astounded.

The way you're talking demonstrates it, she remarked, grinning.

"Mom, I want to go tomorrow," I said to her.

"OK, you can go, but you have to be back before 10," she said.

I then began making my preparations. I created one card for my friend and started choosing the party's attire. Once everything was finished, I went to bed with the party always on my mind. I couldn't wait for the party to start and the night to conclude.

The following morning, my mother was surprised to see me because I hadn't woken up due to an alarm or her warning. Now that the entire day has past, it's party time. My father dropped me off at my friend's house and promised to be back at ten o'clock.

I spoke the phrase "ok, fine," and then I took off running.

The gathering was very fun for me. Everyone at the party adored my attire, and my buddy appreciated the card I wrote for her. I was in a happy place. After eating dinner and playing a tonne of games, it finally got to be ten. I recalled my mother's suggestion to return by 10 o'clock. My dad was nowhere to be found when I went outside to look for him. Everyone was inside, and I was frightened and worried.

I was by myself there. I waited there for five to ten minutes, but waiting by myself seemed to take longer. Since my home was 20 minutes away from my friends' place, I started walking with the idea that at least I could go home by foot. I was sobbing as I walked because I've never walked by myself on the road at night.

I heard someone calling something out of nowhere. I started moving quickly because I was afraid. I assumed a thug or a ghost was present. I heard someone going quickly behind me while I was moving quickly myself. I began to run while sobbing, and then I noticed some parked cars. Behind the vehicles, I hid. One shadow was looking for me, I noticed. I asked God to help me get home and to save me. After a while, I lost sight of that shadow. I exited slowly and started running for my house. I eventually made it home. As I gave my mother a hug, I started crying. She began asking me a tonne of questions, such as "What happened?" and "Why are you crying?" but I was unable to respond to any of them.

After a while, I became at ease and told my mother everything. She became alarmed, and as we were talking, my father arrived and inquired as to what had transpired. I started giving him my storey, and as I was doing so, he interrupted me, saying, "I saw you, and I was yelling at you, but you were racing away from me, and then you disappeared. There, I was looking for you. My tyre punctured, so I arrived late.

I was astonished to hear that my mom started laughing and told my dad everything, and I felt comforted. "You should have waited there," my father stated as he gave me a hug.

You should always maintain composure and strength, according to my mother.

However, they claimed to be really pleased and proud of me for returning home. I slept with my parents that night and felt quite secure and safe. The following day, when I arrived at school, I told my friends everything that had happened to me the previous evening. They were shocked to learn how bravely I had handled everything.

So, that was the best party, the most exciting night, and everyone responded really well. I adored that.
