From R to S, distance covered is 2-(-3) =5 units.

We did this because their y coordinate, 2 is the same. So we just need to subtract the x coordinates.

From S to T, distance is 2-(-5) =7 units.

We did this because their x coordinate, 2 is the same. So we just need to subtract the y coordinates.

Total distance= 5+7 = 12
