I watched a man, not much taller nor smarter than me walked down the street towards the news stand. He was peeling a banana and chewed it without much enthusiasm. When he was done with the banana, he threw its skin on the road without much care as to what might happen next. He asked the person in the news stand for the daily paper, which the person cheerfully offered to him. As he walked back towards where he came from, holding the newspaper up while reading it he fell over the banana skin, the same one he left there earlier.
