Concept: In Right angled triangle,

Area of the triangle=\frac{1}{2}×base×height

Given: Base (AB) = 8 cm

           Height(CD)= 6 cm

Find: Area of the triangle ABC

Solution: Area of the triangle ABC= \frac{1}{2}×8×6 cm^{2}

                                                         = 24 cm^{2}

Final answer: Area of the triangle ABC = 24 cm^{2}
