Once I was reading a book at my home, when the door bell rang. I went to answer it. There was no one at the door. I understood that it was the mischief of the boys from our society. It had been past many weeks they had been doing this. They would ring people's door bells and run away. I was very annoyed and decided to teach them a lesson
The next day i kept a bucket full of water near the door and waited for them to show up. After nearly half an hour the door bell rang . I opened the door and at once threw the water. To my surprise!!it was not the boys!!but our close relatives who had come to meet us. They were very angry. They complained about it to my parents. I received a lot of scolding when my parents returned. That day I learnt what really the proverb look before you leap means
