Loop and copper-T fall in long acting Reversible contraception.

Working :

It prevents sperm from reaching and fertilizing eggs and it may prevent the eggs from attaching womb. If fertilization of eggs does occur the physical presence of the device prevents the fertilized eggs from implanting into the lining of uterus.
