Profit is denoted as = Positive integer (Given)

Loss is denoted as = Negative Integer.  (Given)

Profit earned while selling one bag of white cement = 8

Therefore,

Profit earned on selling 3000 bags of white cement will be -

= 8 × 3000

= 24000

Loss incurred on selling 1 bag of grey cement = − 5

Loss incurred on selling 5000 bags of grey cement will be

= −5 × 5000

= −25000

Total profit or loss earned = Profit + Loss

= 24000 + (−25000) = −1000

Therefore, there is a loss of Rs 1000 will be incurred by the company.
