Answer:

Hey there!

The basic unit of life is cell.

1) The function of an organism as a whole is the outcome of the combined activities because many multiorganisms are made up of a number of cells which form tissues the group of which, in turn, form organs. All these need to work in a coordinated manner in order to ensure proper functioning of the body.

2) The cell of an elephant will not be larger than the cell of an ant because it is not the size of cell that makes the body larger. But it is the number of cells that determines the size of an organism. Therefore, an elephant has more number of cells than an ant but the size of their cells is the same.

3) False.

4) True

5) True

Hope it helped!
