Answer:

"LOVE FOR FREEDOM IS A NATURAL INSTINCT OF EVERY LIVING BEING"

As man loves freedom, so do all forms of animals. Man has kept animals in zoos for his pleasure, entertainment and convenience. This is man’s cruelty to animals! Have animals ever encroached into man’s world and hunted him? Has any animal ever encaged any man? If man were treated with the same cruelty, how would he feel? Certainly, he would feel the pain, hurt, suffering, and torture if being in the cage?

The poem A Tiger in the Zoo portrays the anguish of a tiger caged in a zoo. The tiger feels slave in the concrete cell. It feels like a prisoner. It misses its freedom in the forest where it should be lurking in the shadows; stalking its prey in the long grass near water hole, where deer come to drink water and where it lurks to pounce on them.

It can only walk a few steps in the cage. Many visitors come to see it but it does not pay any heed to them.

At night after everyone retires, it can only look at the stars from its cage.

Explanation:

''LOVE FOR FREEDOM IS THE NATURAL INSTINCT OF EVERY LIVING BEING''

It is true that every living thing has an innate instinct to cherish freedom. Everyone loves freedom and despises being in shackles. The tiger felt a same need for freedom. He even ignored the visitors since he was so sick of being confined.

The tiger in the zoo's emotions are described by the poet . He moves a few steps in his cage while stalking in his brilliant stripes. He is not content. He shows his wrath in silence. We learn from this poem that animals want to roam freely in the forest. The zoo is not where the animals desire to live. Their existence there in is pitiful.

The greatest magnificent gift from God is freedom. Without freedom, everything is meaningless. Freedom is a birthright. A bird cannot be happy if it dwells in a golden cage. It enjoys flying uninhibited in a clear sky. Similar to this, a man cannot feel happy if he receives everything while living in a prison. But if a guy leads a free life, he will be content no matter what his circumstances. Two tigers are described in this poem, one of which is in a cage and the other of which is in a forest or open field. Their actions stand in stark contrast to one another.
